Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using Java and Python. Implement and maintain automation frameworks for RESTful API testing and UI testing. Conduct both functional and non-functional testing including but not limited to performance, scalability, and reliability tests. Work closely with development teams to integrate automation testing within the CI/CD pipeline. Working knowledge and experience in building AI - assisted test framework and exposure in one of the AI tools like openAI, Claude etc. is a huge plus Manage databases involved in testing environments, specifically MongoDB and DB2, ensuring data integrity and efficient data handling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, and provide testing feedback. Maintain documentation for automation processes and test results to ensure transparency and compliance with industry standards. Stay updated with the latest industry trends in QA methodologies and technologies and apply this knowledge to improve testing practices. At least 4+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Proven experience in developing automation tests using Java and Python. Strong experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD). Proficient in functional and non-functional testing of RESTful APIs. Experience with Web UI automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium. Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Solid understanding and experience working with MongoDB and DB2 databases. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Creative to write prompts to generate synthetic test data and prompt injection scenarios. Experience working in Agile model with in-sprint automation mode. Understanding of security testing principles and tools. Desired Skills: Experience in testing GenAI-based projects and computing metrics such as faithfulness, completeness, and answer relevance. Experience working with HR data and familiarity with the Workday Public Services API. Experience in maintaining Automation Framework in several environments in continuous integration pipeline.
