Salary: $56,889 - $96,711 / year
Role & seniority: Test/Verification Engineer (entry to mid-level); DoD security clearance preferred; U.S. citizenship required.
Stack/tools: Testing methods for hardware, software, and systems; standard processes/procedures/tools; Microsoft Office; potential for test automation/tools (nice-to-have).
Design, development, and implementation of cost-effective testing methods.
Execute test approaches and document system verification throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Isolate and document issues and defects; set up and conduct functional, environmental, operational, and performance tests.
Strong understanding of testing/troubleshooting methods for hardware, software, and systems.
Ability to generate technical engineering products using standards, processes, procedures, and tools.
Proficient in executing test approaches and documenting system verification; knowledge of functional, environmental, operational, and performance testing.
Problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Experience with test automation and testing tools; requirements-based testing and test-case design.
Ability to analyze requirements and craft comprehensive test cases.
Security clearance (DoD Secret preferred), flexible collaboration in team settings.
Location & work type: On-site at GDMS Manassas, VA; full-time; 9/80 option (every other Friday off) available
