Must-have skills

Position Summary
The Tester II will assist with inspection sheets, tests, and observations, and will document required corrective actions for finished products. Also performs some assembly and wiring. As a Level II Tester, the incumbent receives coaching and training from a Lead Tester. Committed to the Shingo/SBS Model principles and applies the tools and concepts.
What You'll Do As a Tester II
Makes normal unit connections to the test bench. Performs a manual and visual unit inspection. Checks if specifications meet customer order, that components comply with drawings, and the exterior unit has no imperfections. Runs various operating cycles and tests to confirm the unit meets standards, evaluating parameters and making necessary adjustments. Do some rework and notify the cell leader of others that need to be taken care of. Suggests inspection sheet modifications. Collaborates with engineering and quality systems departments in the elaboration of protocols and inspection sheets. Defines problems and works with others to resolve those problems Finish Assembly of Units Assist in Packing the Units
The Experience, Skills And Abilities Needed
Required
High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of experience working with electrical, pneumatic, and testing equipment.
Preferred
2-3 years of experience in STERIS equipment testing or similar equipment. Intermediate knowledge of voltage testing. Intermediate knowledge of Pneumatics.
Other
Ability to read schematics. Ability to do basic math. Ability to apply problem-solving techniques. Concentration Ability to communicate at all levels Preciseness and attention to details Ability to work with basic measurement tools Lean-minded and capabilities

Pay rate for this opportunity is $24.70. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
