Role & seniority: QA Manual Tester (non-management role)
Stack/tools: Web application testing; API testing; SQL for data validation; STLC; Jira; Zephyr (test management); Gherkin; Agile ceremonies; familiarity with QTest/QC is a plus
Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases
Perform manual testing of web features and write medium-complexity SQL queries for data validation
Identify, document, and report defects (via Jira); participate in stand-ups and sprint planning; ensure regression testing and advocate for quality

Responsibilities
Analyze user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases. Capable to write medium complexities SQL queries for Data validation Conduct manual testing of web application features across various functionalities and user flows. Identify, reproduce, document, and report software defects using a bug tracking tool like Jira. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions to provide testing insights and feedback. Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and ensure proper regression testing. Stay up-to-date on the latest manual testing methodologies and best practices. Contribute to a culture of quality by advocating for testing throughout the development process.
Skills
Experience in Web application testing. API testing experience Knowledge of Gherkin format of test cases creation Agile methodology - process and ceremonies. Excellent communication skills Exposure to Zyphyr test management tool Extensive Experience with JIRA Extensive experience in test case, scenario & test plan creation
