Top 3 responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end testing across the full SDLC (functional, regression, performance, load, automation)

  • Standardize and drive adoption of test automation technologies to scale quality across teams

  • Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product managers; pair with engineers to improve automation/regression coverage and build/testing frameworks; maintain QA environment

Must-have skills

  • 5+ years in QA, software testing, or related field; strong analytical skills for test design

  • Proficient in Python-based frameworks/test cases (SDET level)

  • Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins; Linux environment familiarity

  • Familiarity with Kafka and REST; strong teamwork and ability to work in fast-paced settings

  • Proactive, self-starter with ability to own tasks and drive them to finish

Project Description

  • You'll be working in the Neo Access POD team, based in Poland. We look after the login and entitlements experience for "Neo", a globally distributed platform with 2m+ users. Authentication standards and technology are constantly shifting and we need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends.
  • We strive to provide our clients with the highest standards of security and reliability.
  • The Neo team has around 100 people, spread globally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end testing initiatives throughout the entire SDLC from test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting. This includes performance testing, stress testing, front end, back end testing, automation testing, includes functional, regression, black box, white box,

  • Drive standardization and adoption of Test Automation Technologies to maintain consistency across the company that will allow us to scale as we grow.

  • Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers to release revolutionary products.

  • Pair with software engineers to identify and prevent gaps with automation/regression coverage and even build frameworks.

  • Be part of transforming monolithic applications into more scalable and resilient distributed systems with high quality, using cloud technology.

  • Build and improve automation testing frameworks and tools for API and web-based

  • Plan, develop, and execute regression, functional, load and other tests • Design, develop, and use frameworks and harnesses for automated testing

  • Take full ownership of and maintain a robust QA environment, including test databases and system deployments

  • Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests

  • Work with developers on improving system testability and creating a testing environment

  • Document test plans, procedures, and test cases

Mandatory Skills Description

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, system development, and automated testing

  • Analytical skills to come up with test cases/scope based on business requirements and software design

  • Must have experience in writing Python based frameworks/testcases (SDET level)

  • Must have experience with git, github-actions, Jenkins etc. tools

  • Must have familiarity with working in Linux environment

  • Familiarity with Kafka, REST

  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others

  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence

  • Be a self-starter, chase down blockers, and proactively finish projects in a timely manner.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description

  • Financial domain knowledge is a big plus.
