Our R&D department based in NOVI, Aalborg is a hub of creativity and technical expertise, and we are expanding our System Test Team to increase our focus on quality even further.
We are looking for a talented System Tester with a keen eye for details to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated system tests with a strong focus on Cyber Security for our existing and future cutting-edge maritime safety products.
As a System Tester, you will be the gatekeeper of product quality, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards before they go into production. Your work will involve close collaboration with product architects, hardware engineers, and software developers, giving you a comprehensive view of our products and their performance.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with system architects to define and clarify product requirements. Review requirement specifications and technical descriptions to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. Develop comprehensive test plans and specifications based on system requirements. Design, configure, and maintain test environments. Document test procedures, results, and findings clearly and systematically. Develop and execute automated test scripts (e.g. Python-based). Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document findings in bug reports. Conduct regression and release testing for new software versions.
Who You Are (Ideally) You hold a technical degree in software development, electronics, or computer engineering – from UCN, AAU, VIA, or a similar institution. You possess a strong passion for Cyber Security and system testing. You are known for your attention to detail and have a natural exploratory curiosity when you get your hands on new tech stuff. Experience in programming (Python, C++, or similar) and familiarity with Linux environments will help you succeed in working with our system-level test setups.
