Full Description

cFocus Software seeks a Mid-Level Test Engineer to join our program supporting the United States Secret Services (USSS). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in system, application, or integration testing.
Demonstrated experience testing enterprise IT or GIS platforms.
Experience developing automated test scripts for web applications.
Strong understanding of SELC, SDLC, and Agile testing methodologies.
Experience supporting DHS or Federal IT testing environments.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Tier 4a Background Investigation.

Duties

Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures aligned with SELC requirements.
Lead Integration and Test (I&T) activities for Enterprise GIS components, applications, and services.
Design and implement automated end-to-end (E2E) testing for web-based GIS applications.
Perform Developmental Testing (DT) and Operational Testing (OT) in accordance with DHS testing guidance.
Execute functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing across all hosting environments.
Validate front-end GIS user workflows, data pipelines, and system integrations.
Support Section 508 accessibility testing and documentation requirements.
Identify, document, track, and report defects, risks, and remediation recommendations.
Coordinate testing activities with developers, system architects, cybersecurity staff, and stakeholders.
Conduct weekly demonstrations of integrated features for Government acceptance.
Ensure system documentation is updated to reflect tested and accepted changes.
Provide estimates for defect remediation effort and integration feasibility.
Support CI/CD testing pipelines and version control workflows.
