Project Role: Test Automation Lead

Project Role Description: Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Summary: As a Test Automation Lead, you will be at the forefront of transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve leading initiatives that enhance quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will work collaboratively with various teams to evolve predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to ensure the highest standards of quality are met throughout the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain reliable end-to-end (E2E) test suites using Playwright + TypeScript - Build automated test coverage for critical user journeys across AngularJS and Angular applications - Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure testability is considered from grooming through release - Report and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and risk assessments; support retesting and regression verification - Review release candidates and provide quality sign-off based on automated and manual testing Professional & Technical Skills: - 3 + years of hands-on QA experience, with strong Playwright + TypeScript skills - Solid understanding of modern web-app architecture, browser internals, and QA best practices - Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar) - Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, and document findings clearly - A keen eye for detail — you verify layout across screen sizes and cover edge-case scenarios. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
