Design/develop scripts and procedures to automate firmware test workflows; document and execute tests (manual and automated) to verify product functionality

Job Description Our Test interns work with a team of engineers and industry professionals to develop and test Rockwell firmware to optimize industrial operations. You will have the opportunity to be a significant contributor, while getting comprehensive exposure to the business structure of Rockwell Automation and how we are helping our customers bring the Connected Enterprise to life. Firmware Test: if you like pushing products to their limits to meet the rigid standards of industrial components, you will be interested in these activities, which include: design and development of scripts for automating test procedures, documenting of test procedures, execution of test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated), creation of test reports, assistance with lab audit/improvement activities, assist with build and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms Rockwell will match your background and skills with your interests and our business needs. The Essentials - You Will Have: Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign.
