Role & seniority: Graduate Validation and Characterization Engineer (early-career)
Stack/tools: Analog/digital/mixed-signal hardware; PCB bring-up; Python for automation; NI STS/PXIe; bench/test equipment; data analysis tools (Spotfire, Excel, JMP)
Bench test, debug, and characterize embedded on-chip circuitry to verify datasheet; design and bring up board-level hardware for pre- and post-silicon validation
Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites; collaborate to implement best practices in backend test methodologies
Analyze test results, identify failures, and document findings; support test automation software and write technical reports
BSc/MSc/MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Knowledge of analog/digital/power electronics and mixed-signal building blocks (ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, LDOs, SMPS, signal processing)
Python scripting for test automation and data analysis; strong problem-solving and communication
Experience with test development, failure analysis, statistical analysis

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative, cross-functional development team validating and characterizing advanced mixed-signal products. You will play a critical role in supporting new product introductions and post-silicon validation. Our high-performance chips enable an incredible mixed-signal experience with highly integrated, platform-level functionality while delivering the lowest power consumption and highest efficiency.
As a Graduate Validation and Characterization Engineer, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams and will learn how our exceptional products work. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our world-class team to investigate product operation, designing high-performance PCBs and automated software along the way. We value continuous improvement, and your input will help to shape test infrastructure and processes. \n
\n This position is based in our Edinburgh office.
It is a hybrid role with some flexibility to work from home, depending on business needs. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
