What To Expect Tesla Electronics Test and Automation Group (ETAG) is the main point of contact to ensure the highest quality vehicle, silicon and robotics electronics for our customers. Our mission is to develop test automation equipment, architect software automation framework, and provide hardware/software/data infrastructure for Tesla electronics communities worldwide.
We are seeking a highly motivated ICT engineer to develop ICT programs and support test activities that take place in PBCA suppliers. You will work with both Tesla internal groups as well as suppliers to define and accomplish all test requirements. You will create and manage the test programs from start to finish, perform board grading, GR&R, analyze and present data, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions.

What You'll Do
Develop ICT programs for Keysight 3070 platform. Develop and debug advanced digital, I2C, NAND-Tree, mixed signal, advanced boundary scan and silicon nail tests Troubleshoot failures with Dual Stage, shared wired, pneumatic fixtures Develop Block Functional tests on Keysight 3070 platform Support vacuum/pneumatic/inline fixtures of panelized boards with throughput multiplier, shared-wired capabilities, dual-well, dual-stage, switch probes and solenoid Perform troubleshooting, identify root cause and implement solution to all line down issues. Perform GR&R Analysis Improve test yield to >95% target Support design team and all cross functional team at tesla to detect coverage holes and improve test coverage on all released test programs Support hardware and software change to ICT to accommodate ECOs from design Develop and support embedded testing using I2C/UART/USB/CAN/SPI Emulate various bus protocols using Keysight 3070 digital drivers to control I2C, DDRs etc.
