Serve as liaison between customer product development/manufacturing and internal teams from award to mass production; coordinate reviews, change control, and approvals
Support configuration, re-flash, roll-tests, system testing (vehicle and bench), issue tracking, and root-cause analysis across mechanical, electrical, software, and validation domains
Lead customer meetings, manage delivery of parts/software, and ensure updates/configs are applied at customer sites

Be the link between the end client and Customer Product development and Manufacturing team from product award till mass production. Support all (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, System, validation, Manufacturing) teams. Capable of interacting with and knowing what is required for each of them. Navigate complex and customer organization and processes. Support configuration set up, plant re-flash and roll-tests activities. Coordinate customer feedback loop with manufacturing plants and Product Development team. Conduct component/product -analysis to help with root cause analysis on issues found during SW integration efforts with customer or debugging other defects observed by customer when doing subsystem level testing on benches or breadboards Attend / coordinate all of the customer's meetings as required (Design Review, Open Issues, Change Control, Studio, Validation, Quality, Warranty, Lighting, Component Reviews, Staff, Service Part, Training Sessions, etc.). Responsible for release and delivery of parts and software to customer. Ensure product updates occur at customer site (configuring modules, module re-calibration, re-flash to latest software level, programming, etc.), as required. Lead / ensure review of engineering documents with the Customer and obtain approval as required. Support change control process Support customer system testing in vehicle, at their local labs Support component installation at benches and vehicles. Perform component disassembly and debug.
Required skills
Minimum of 2 years of Automotive Industry experience in component and system test engineering or design release experience preferably with an OEM or Tier One supplier. 1 to 2 years' experience in Instrument Cluster, Radio, Infotainment, Telematics, Body Controller Modules or similar ECU products. Good working knowledge of CAN, GMLAN, OBD, LIN HDMI, Ethernet, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink UART, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and Automotive protocols and respective tools. Flashing/testing/debugging ECUs on bench and in vehicle with the help of NeoVI/vSPY, CANoe/CANalyzer, MOCCA/Optolyzer Suite, BluePiraT and RadGalaxy. Analyzing log files and bus trace in Vehicle Spy/CANalyzer to identify and root cause issues ECU validation at Component, System and Vehicle level to identify and debug issues Experience with Serial data testing using Oscilloscope to determine signal level issues. Recording, logging and follow up on issues in Customer's issue tracking portals. Good understanding of latest requirements and technical specifications on common communication protocols. Able to coordinate with software and product development teams to meet Customer's program timing and product and software quality requirements.
