You Are
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our quality assurance team.
The Opportunity
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create test plans. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective testing of new features and bug fixes. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What You Need
Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role in software development and testing Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar. Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby Test Planning (PBI Analysis, Establishing Priorities, Providing Estimates) Test Design (Create/Review Test Procedures, Create/Review Test Conditions, Identify/Create Test Data) Test Execution (Execute Test Procedures, Create/Triage Bugs, Status Reporting, Provide Requirements Traceability) Experience with data driven testing techniques and procedures. Experience with XML and CSV format for test-data generation. Experience with UAT and Production implementation & support. Knowledge and understanding of IT Quality Assurance testing applications, methods and methodologies. Validates Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) thus assuring the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the programming interfaces Technical Aptitude around system interoperability procedures. Experience with SQL commands to create, store, retrieve, modify data in a database Flexibility in learning new products and technologies quickly, versatility to move across platforms and/or applications as needed. Aptitude around test automation by executing scripts, reporting results, or having familiar knowledge with basic coding skills. Ability to own project assignments and meet deadlines and work independently, as well as, in a group setting. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
