The Information Technology Department is looking for a Quality Assurance Intern to join the IT Quality
Assurance Team and Project Management Office to assist in Quality Assurance process by
Monitoring, analyzing, and testing software to Ensure Quality and enhance user Experience.
The candidate will be exposed to a broad spectrum of quality assurance tasks like identifying issues,
debugging, performing smoke tests, and documenting test cases. The Quality Assurance Intern will
report directly to the assigned Lead Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Intern may work in
collaboration with software developers, other Systems and QA Analyst and system users to ensure a
cohesive product is delivered.
Assist in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases. Identify record, document, and track bugs to resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication of the requirements and
standards.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Identify and fix bugs in software code. Test new features and functionality. Ensure that the software meets all requirements. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the needs of users. Communicate with developers and testers to resolve issues. Assists Lead QA Analyst in manual testing and writing automated test scripts utilizing Azure Cloud to
test management tool and manage the test plan.
Attend daily scrum meetings to discuss various issues and possible solutions with test team. Look for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the users. Look into technical issues and questions submitted by users. Participate in meetings with the Developer and Systems Analysts and delivery team to review crossproject progress including deliverables and action items. Assist in the tracking of test documentation, including specifications, testing plans,
Installation/operational/performance Qualifications, Training Plans, Etc.
Look for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the users.

For Assignment Level II (Information Technology)
Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or closely related field, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study.
For Assignment Level III (Information Technology Fellow)
Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study. Appointments to this Assignment Level will be made by the Technology Steering Committee through the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
SPECIAL NOTE
Maximum tenure for all Assignment Levels in the title of College Aide is 6 years. No student shall be employed more than half-time in any week in which classes in which the student is enrolled are in session. Students may be employed full-time during their vacation periods.
