General Responsibilities Manage a team of Test Development staff. Provides annual departmental resource and capability planning and roadmap based on customer and internal workload demand. Manage and coordinate Test Development projects internally and with customers. Focus on engineering design of product test solutions using standard test platforms or wholly custom test developments, to provide manufacturing solutions that meet both the customers’ requirements and the Benchmark manufacturing support groups’ requirements Design system & PCBA schematics using Altium, for custom system & circuit interfaces and signal controls & conditioning in test system design. Expert in NI LabVIEW, Teststand, Python, C language by creating test automation programs is a plus. Good knowledge in Test Methodology by able to analyze customer requirement propose a test solution to the end customer. Create documentation related to a tester/fixture design project Contact and work with test component vendors, and engineering services contractors. Work with internal manufacturing support groups to understand the requirements of the production environment and to effectively transition test solutions to production Communicate technical test issues & challenges, and implement solutions Participate/lead in test strategy development discussions on customer team(s) Participate/lead in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format Work with Project Managers in all relevant aspects of test development to ensure design solutions are completed on schedule, on budget and meet the design intent Learn and begin to work with advanced technologies (Boundary Scan, ISP, embedded test, etc.) as needed and under specific direction Develop an understanding of Design for Testability and Test Strategy development and promote with customers Perform research and development for new methods of testing and utilizing automated test equipment Qualification Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in electronics test development Thai Native Speaker with Good Command in English Possess advance knowledge of software languages and programming techniques, revision control, and functions verification and validation techniques Demonstrate effective use of test software development applications (NITestStand, Labview, LabWindows, python or other software language) and of lab test equipment. Possess an intermediate/advance engineering level understanding of electronic components, and design of circuits and systems Knowledge of interfacing with SPI/I2C/USB/PCIe/UART/GPIB/RS232/CAN Bus/Multibus/PWM/JTAG/RFID is a plus. Knowledge of different fields/application such as RF/High Power Testing/ Semiconductor is a plus. Solid analytical skills and troubleshooting of electronic circuits Demonstrate day-to-day self-directed project activity organization in accordance with test development procedures Demonstrate a good level of understanding of test development techniques and ability to apply test solutions for intermediate level test scenarios Effective written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills, in English Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to take on project leadership/ownership Ability to make independent judgments using sound engineering principles and techniques Demonstrate ability to work effectively with customers Available for occasional short overseas trips
