Scopely is looking for a QA Manager - Outsource to join our unannounced project on a remote basis from Spain, the UK, Portugal or Ireland.

What You Will Do Outsource QA Leadership & Management You will lead and manage multiple outsource development QA and functional QA teams, ensuring they are aligned with project goals, quality standards, and Scopely tenets. You will own the project’s playtest program, and partner closely with Production to deliver a robust, risk-driven Release QA process. This includes day-to-day oversight, performance management, and fostering strong working relationships with vendor leadership. Own vendor onboarding, training, and ramp-up processes in collaboration with internal QA, IT, and Production Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to Scopely QA standards, workflows, and tooling Lead vendor performance management, including feedback cycles, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and operational check-ins with outsource partners Ensure test plans, test cases, and execution strategies are aligned with project risk and development priorities Oversee defect quality, triage processes, and reporting standards across outsource teams Collaborate closely with internal discipline leads to anticipate risk, dependencies, and quality impacts Budget & Operational Management You will manage the outsource QA budget, ensuring spend is aligned with project needs while delivering high-quality results in a cost-effective manner. Forecast and manage outsource QA spend across development phases and release milestones Partner with Production and Finance to balance capacity, scope, and budget constraints Identify efficiency opportunities through process improvements, tooling, and resourcing strategies
Release QA Management You will own release quality from a QA perspective, partnering closely with Production and Live Ops. Coordinate QA readiness for releases, updates, and submissions Ensure appropriate test coverage, certification requirements, and quality gates are met Provide clear quality status, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations Support post-release reviews and root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement Playtest Ownership You will fully own the playtest process for the team, ensuring playtests deliver actionable insights that improve product quality and player experience.
