This is a great opportunity to join the verification and validation team of six test engineers with extensive knowledge and experience in environmental testing. The team is expanding both in personnel and test facilities. The test team is performing environmental tests on products for future digital substation solutions that will revolutionize the energy power grid. In this role you will be part of product development as well as maintenance of released products, and within the R&D environment collaborating with other technical expertise in hardware, software and product development. You will be assigned test projects to perform environmental tests (EMC, Climatic, Mechanical etc.) in our own and external test labs. This position located in Västerås, Sweden. How you’ll make an impact Perform environmental tests such as EMC, Climatic, Safety, Mechanical and Electrical, according to various standards. Configuration of the product to be tested. Practically build the test setup with auxiliary equipment including wiring and supervision Perform the tests mentioned above. Write test reports of performed tests. Personal electrical safety during the tests Be part of the continuous improvement process for environmental testing Your background Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar field Over 3 years of practical work in test lab Knowledge about environmental testing standards Systematic and accurate way of working with tests Experience of performing electrical measurements with oscilloscopes, multimeters etc. Knowledge about hardware electronics Acts to improve ways of working. Fluent in English, Swedish can be beneficial.
