About The Position Swimm is looking for an Automation QA Lead to build and own our automation testing strategy across LLMs, WebApp, IDE plugins, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role, leading by doing—not from a deck. You’ll join the team to define best practices, implement robust test automation, and ensure the quality of a highly technical product used by engineering teams around the world. This position is full-time, working at least four days a week from our TLV office.

A glimpse into what you will be doing

• Design and implement the end-to-end test automation strategy across frontend, backend, and IDE integrations.
• Lead the migration from the existing manual QA processes to automatic ones across the company’s features
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured E2E test plans and test cases based on the PRD and HLD
• Build and maintain test suites using Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality is baked into every stage of development.
• Own CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation and quality gates.
• Champion automation standards and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, stability, and speed.
• Lead testing initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment, where quality and velocity go hand-in-hand.

Your qualifications and experience

• Proven experience in WebApp test automation, using Playwright or a similar framework (e.g. Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer).
• Proven experience in testing on-prem and air-gapped solutions, with a solid grasp of the unique operational, security, and regulatory challenges compared to SaaS, particularly in financial and government environments
• Familiarity with several Docker orchestration engine
• Proven experience with tests cases management tools (TestRail or similar)
• Hands-on startup experience—you’ve seen how quality needs to adapt when speed matters.
• Deep understanding of modern QA principles, CI/CD tooling, and test pyramid strategies
• Experience writing robust, maintainable automation code in a real-world product environment
