Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Lead Automation Engineer for one of our clients active in the maritime industry in the region of Rotterdam.

This concerns a vacancy to become permanently employed at our client.

Our client is a leading International System Integrator active in the maritime industry. They are responsible for the complete design and intergration of all automated and electrical systems for complex maritime platforms, including luxury yachts, naval vessels and submarines. They are known for high-end technical challenges, multidisciplinary engineering teams and innovation. Within their projects they work with Allen Bradley, Codesys, Siemens and more.

The Job

• You are working from design phase up to commissioning of new build and retrofit projects;
• You are responsible for leading the Engineers in complex maritime projects (max 5);
• You are responsible for writing functional and technical design specifications;
• You are in charge of client contact and subcontract management;
• You are involved in writing testprotocols.
