Creativity Apps QA team is looking for a highly motivated Software Developer in Test Manager that has a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality releases for iOS/macOS and web-based apps. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a passion and/or background in video editing to contribute to the production of innovative tools for creative professionals, video makers, and visual storytellers.
DESCRIPTION
As an SDET Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Software Development Engineers in Test, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and collaboration. Manage multiple priorities, projects, set team goals, evaluate performance, and create development plans to help team members achieve their full potential. Communicate risks, progress, and solutions effectively to all levels of the organization. Ensure the adoption of the latest testing methodologies and tools to maintain high-quality standards. Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test cases in Swift and Python. Advocate for quality across the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement in processes and tools. Act as a key liaison between the QA team and product management, engineering, and other stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years in a QA leadership role managing a team. 7+ years of experience in a Software Quality Engineering role. Strong experience in testing mobile/desktop applications, cloud-based frameworks, and APIs. Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with programming languages such as Swift, JavaScript, or Python. Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms using tools like XCTest, Selenium, or WebdriverIO. Demonstrable experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, Xcode Server). Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and processes. Proven ability to attract, hire, and develop top engineering talent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in video/photo editing technologies or a passion for creative tools. Experience with performance, scalability, and security testing. Strong knowledge of Apple's development ecosystem, including Xcode and Instruments. Familiarity with accessibility testing standards and best practices.
