We are seeking a Test Systems Engineer to develop and lead a test campaign for system level testing to validate mission readiness and performance. This position will also serve as the lead system integrator’s senior system engineer and support system engineering efforts outside of test responsibilities. The position requires a diverse background in network engineering, software systems engineering and system level test management to support the United States Air Force in its goal of developing an interoperable system of systems to execute long range kill chains. The Department of the Air Force Integrated Fires Command and Control (DIFC2) program goals include improved information sharing, layered security, common data and architecture standards, system resiliency, faster implementation, and more effective cross-domain capabilities. The position requires an individual with strong technical project management skills and experience in developing and implementing test campaigns and problem solving. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, team skills and defense program technical project management experience. They will be expected to continually balance and adjust work priorities to meet short deadlines with a new program. Position will be working onsite in the Chantilly/Reston, VA area.
