In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence and ensuring consistency in claim handling across our Treaty and Facultative portfolios. You will act as a safeguard for the organization's balance sheet by identifying leakage, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Audit and Compliance Oversee technical audits of reinsurance claim files to ensure compliance with company Best Practices, claim handling guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Conduct Secondary reviews of technical audits conducted by supervisors. Monitor claim files for leakage, proactive litigation management, and appropriate subrogation/salvage recovery efforts. Quality Assurance Reviews Plan and administer Quality Assurance Reviews of the Everest Re Claim offices to verify adherence to reporting guidelines and settlement authority. Provide detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for remediation to internal stakeholders. Process Improvement and Training Analyze audit data to identify systemic trends, training gaps, or operational inefficiencies within the claims department. Collaborate with Claims Leadership to develop and update claim handling guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Design and deliver technical training sessions for the claims staff based on audit findings and emerging industry trends. Reporting and Analytics Prepare quarterly Quality Assurance reports for senior management, highlighting quality scores, compliance metrics, and improvement areas. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry, with significant focus on Reinsurance Claims handling or Claims Audit. Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering constructive feedback to peers and senior management.
