Role Description The FIS Post-Trade Processing Platform integrates multiple functions to support cross-asset securities and derivatives processing. It is a real-time, flexible, and future-proof solution that integrates middle-office, accounting, settlement, securities lending, corporate actions, collateral management, and treasury on one powerful integrated platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Analyst with a primary focus on Python, SQL, and BFSI/Capital Markets Domain expertise. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of the Trade Life Cycle and be proficient in Python, SQL, Docker and CI/CD processes. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate good soft skills, including being a self-starter, proactive, as well as having excellent communication and documentation skills. Responsibilities Include In this position you will be working as an experienced QA Analyst integrated within one of our specialist development teams, providing a valuable skillset to solve complex automation problems and innovative automation solutions for fast tracking releases. As an individual contributor you will: · Get involved across our agile project teams to help define test cases and fulfilling test requirements to make sure quality is kept at the heart of the process. · Expanding and maintaing automation frameworks · Taking ownership of test planning and execution. · Be the quality champion within your team · Documenting test cases and detailed scripts with test management tools, and demonstrating test coverage of the requirements · Contributing and reviewing test automation scripts to integrate with our CI/CD pipeline to ensure errors are caught as early as possible. · Managing test activities and recording KPIs. · Working collaboratively with the development team to ensure a high standard of deliverables · Investigating, logging, reporting, escalating and working collaboratively to resolve defects. We’re looking for · Hands-on experience in Automation Framework implementation using Python, CI/CD (Github Actions / Jenkins), SQL, Docker. · Functional and automation testing experience (both backend and frontend) with a good understanding of industry-wide QA processes. · Proficiency in SQL, including creating complex queries to pull data from multiple tables using joins. · Good understanding of the Trade Life Cycle or experience working in Capital markets Post trade platforms. · Strong grasp of of UNIX/Linux commands and scripting preferred · Exposure to UI automation · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Goal orientated mindset · Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing · Self-starter with a proactive attitude. · Excellent communication and documentation skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and experience in agile testing Our Tech Stack Experience working with the following toolset: · Github actions, Jenkins CI · AWS, Docker, Kubernetes · Python - pyTest, pywinauto, unittest · Bitbucket GIT · Linux command line (oracle Linux) · SQL (Oracle preferred) · SOAP / REST API’s.
