As a Senior QA Engineer on the VFX Team, you'll safeguard the quality of our end-to-end delivery flow—central to all Tesla vehicle deliveries. Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to define testing strategies, deploy cutting-edge automation, and innovate with LLMs to maximize coverage and efficiency. You'll focus on backend services, APIs, and customer app, maintaining 99.99%+ uptime in a high-stakes environment.
What You'll Do
Design, develop and execute advanced test suites Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms and languages to help improve overall quality and test code coverage Responsible for functional testing and automated testing Write backend integration tests and tests for RESTful APIs Develop frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python Design and develop integration, regression, and stress tests using industry standard tools Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases Define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications and test suites Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs
