Job Brief

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer for an on-site role to design, build, and own an end-to-end test automation framework for a growing SaaS platform. This is a foundational role where you will define how quality is engineered, not merely how it is tested.
• You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to embed automated quality checks directly into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is opinionated, pragmatic, and experienced in testing legacy front-end technologies alongside modern backend systems.

Key Responsibilities Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable end-to-end QA automation framework Select and standardize automation tools and best practices (Playwright, Selenium, API testing) Build and maintain automated tests for UI, APIs, and critical end-to-end workflows Design resilient automation strategies for legacy front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap 3) Minimize flaky tests by defining stable locator strategies and improving test reliability Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with shift-left testing Collaborate closely with .NET, front-end, product, and DevOps teams Participate in design and code reviews to identify quality and testability risks early Define quality gates and release readiness criteria Continuously improve test performance, stability, and feedback quality Advocate automation-first, engineering-driven quality practices across teams

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of experience in QA automation or software engineering with a testing focus Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium Proven experience testing legacy front-end stacks (Bootstrap 3, jQuery-heavy UIs) Experience building automation frameworks from scratch or leading major refactors Solid understanding of .NET / ASP.NET / .NET Core architectures Experience testing RESTful APIs and service-oriented systems Hands-on experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines Strong programming skills in C# or another language Deep understanding of test design, testability, and automation trade-offs
