This role focuses on building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, improving overall product quality, and enabling fast, reliable releases. Experience with Python and at least one other automation language or framework is required. Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for iOS and Android applications. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and identify test scenarios. Implement end-to-end, integration, regression, and performance tests for mobile apps and backend services. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.). Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering teams to triage and resolve defects. Maintain high-quality test data, test environments, and device configurations (simulators, emulators, and physical devices). Contribute to and advocate for engineering best practices around testability, reliability, and maintainability. Provide test coverage reports, quality metrics, and recommendations for improving product quality and release readiness. (Nice to have) Work with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools/solutions to validate app deployment, configuration, security, and compliance policies on managed devices. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience as an SDET / QA Automation Engineer / Software Engineer in Test. Strong, practical experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android.
