Role & seniority: Senior/Staff level within AI and Custom Services, Enterprise Professional Services; customer-facing technical consultant.
Stack/tools: Five9 platform; integrations with Salesforce, Epic, ServiceNow, HubSpot; hosted SaaS/VoIP/IVR; Digital Engagement channels (Email, Chat, SMS); Intelligent Virtual Agents; NLP engines (Dialogflow, Lex, Watson, etc.); API standards (SOAP, XML, REST, JSON).
Lead requirements gathering, configuration, knowledge transfer, testing, production rollout, and adoption support for customer solutions.
Design and configure applications on Five9 (often with third-party integrations) and provide configuration advice and problem resolution.
Lead technical sessions, act as trusted advisor to decision makers, and manage pre-sales SOW from design to handoff.
3–5 years in Professional Services Implementation/configuration in cloud/telephony environments.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience; strong written/verbal English.
Deep knowledge of SaaS, VoIP/IVR, call center practices, and digital engagement channels.
Ability to listen, diagnose, propose options, and communicate clearly; strong time management; quick learner.
Experience with IVA/NLP, APIs (SOAP/XML/REST/JSON), and integrating to modern services.
Certifications in CCaaS, CRM, ACD, IVR; Google Cloud/AWS/Salesforce certifications.

The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-managed individual who delights customers with their technical and communication skills. Exploring new design patterns, pushing the boundaries of product and straddling the line between tactical and strategic are all in a typical day’s work. You possess technical prowess to design and deliver on challenging customer requirements. You will build to customer approved design specifications efficiently using Five9’s software while always being mindful of where platform capabilities end and customization is required. You are knowledgeable of how to use AI in the contact center and ideally are familiar with Five9 Virtual Contact Center.
