WHAT YOU WILL DO As the Director of Compliance & Quality Assurance, you will lead the systems, standards, and culture that ensure every Primrose school delivers a safe, compliant, and high-quality experience for children, families, and team members. You will serve as Primrose’s subject-matter expert on health, safety, operational policy, and compliance, while guiding strategy, partnerships, and execution across the system. Through strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, you will strengthen Primrose’s premium brand standards and support effective issue prevention and resolution. Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of health, safety, operational, and brand standards across the Primrose network Own the full lifecycle of operational policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and consistent system-wide application Oversee the creation, maintenance, and regular updating of Safe School Plans, incorporating regulatory requirements and industry best practices Lead system-wide quality assurance and compliance processes, ensuring consistent adherence to standards and effective issue resolution Partner with Technology and cross-functional teams to improve tools, documentation, and systems that drive efficiency, visibility, and actionable insights Supervise and develop the Quality Assurance Specialist, providing clear direction, coaching, and support to ensure effective execution of compliance processes Analyze trends, research, and competitive insights to identify opportunities to elevate quality, safety, and operational excellence across the system Collaborate with School Programs, Learning & Development, Curriculum, Quality Assurance, and other partners to integrate new initiatives into operational standards with consistency and alignment Serve as the primary subject-matter expert and leadership advisor on health, safety, operational policy, quality, and compliance matters Advise and support the development of training, resources, and communications that reinforce understanding and adherence to standards Participate as a key member of the Issues Management crisis team, guiding intake, investigation, escalation, documentation, and resolution of incidents impacting school quality, safety, or brand reputation Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, positioning Primrose as a leader in quality, care, and operational excellence WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Business, Regulatory Affairs, Public Administration, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in operations, compliance, quality assurance, risk management, regulatory oversight, or a related function. 5+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead high performing teams. Experience implementing large scale operational or compliance processes across multi site or franchise organizations. Exceptional communication and cross functional collaboration skills, including experience influencing senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. Ability to travel up to 25%.
