Top 3 responsibilities

Maintain and continuously improve automated manufacturing systems to reduce downtime and improve process robustness

Support robotics applications (program recovery/optimization, TCP/mastering/reference validation) and ensure PLC–robot integration

Provide hands-on automation support during production disturbances and startups; act as escalation point; collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality to restore stable operation
Must-have skills

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal) and industrial robots (KUKA preferred)

Servo drives and motion control expertise; strong troubleshooting in a production setting

Willingness to support rotating 2nd/3rd shift schedule

Your mission, roles and responsibilities Support and enhance automated manufacturing systems within a high-volume, automotive production environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining equipment stability, process robustness, and continuous improvement across PLC-controlled systems, robotics, and industrial networks. The position supports plant operations on a rotating schedule between second and third shift, aligned with a 24-hour manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities Automation & Controls

Continous improvement on linestoppage downtime reduction
-
Diagnose and resolve issues related to servo drives, motion control, and automated equipment.

Implement logic adjustments and parameter changes following plant change-management processes.

Automation implementation to reduce humand dependand operation, including the failure occurance.
Robotics Support
Support industrial robotic applications (KUKA preferred), including

Program recovery and optimization

TCP, mastering, and reference validation

PLC–robot interlock verification
Production Support

Provide hands-on automation support during production disturbances and startups.

Act as an escalation point for automation-related issues during assigned shifts.

Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to restore stable operation.
Continuous Improvement

Identify recurring automation issues and support root-cause analysis.

Contribute to improvements in availability, cycle time, and process reliability.
Industrial Communication & Data
