Job Title QA Engineer Summary of the role: As a QA Engineer at Amadeus, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our products, enhancing the experience of our customers and millions of travelers worldwide. In this position, you will define test strategies, validate new features, and lead test automation initiatives using modern frameworks. Your expertise will help us deliver products that meet strin-gent quality standards and align with industry best practices in the industry. In this role you’ll: Define test strategies and plans (functional and non-functional), ensuring traceability with specifications and customer requirements. Design and execute test cases, preparing environments and data to guarantee reliable results. Drive test automation using frameworks like Playwright and contribute to continuous im-provement. Validate features and provide sign-off (Go/No-Go) based on clearly defined exit criteria. Investigate and test fixes during maintenance activities, enriching test suites and CI/CD pipe-lines. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality across the development lifecycle. About the ideal candidate: BS Degree in Computer Science, related equivalent, or equivalent experience. Experience in end to end testing, test case design, and testing strategies, combined with a solid understanding of software code quality principles. Experience with automation frameworks and modern tools is essential, as you will drive innovation in test automation and continuous improvement. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail ensure that every feature meets the highest standards of reliability and performance.
