• Our client has an immediate need for an Automation Test Engineer – UI & API, who will collaborate closely with development and product teams to refine user stories, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive end-to-end test coverage

Technical Skills: (5+ years) UI Automation- Selenium with Java, Cucumber, Maven/Gradle API Automation- Postman, Karate framework Backend- SQL Test Management Tools- ADO, Jira, Confluence DE- Eclipse/IntelliJ/VSCode, SSMS CI/CD- GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teammates to refine and validate user stories moving into production
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for UI and API applications
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality
• Leverage test management tools (ADO, Jira, Confluence) for test planning, execution, and reporting
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend processes and data integrity
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines by integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows
• Provide clear defect documentation and partner with developers for timely resolution
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to improving QA processes and practices
