Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services; align with CI/CD pipelines and ensure coverage for smoke, regression, performance, and integration tests.

Job Title- Lead SDET Location- Irving, TX Job Type -Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation & Framework Development
- Design, build, and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services.
- Develop scalable test automation scripts in line with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure automation coverage for smoke, regression, performance, and integration scenarios.
- Quality Engineering
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
- Identify root causes of defects and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
- API & Backend Testing
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, or other frameworks.
- Validate data flow, error handling, performance, and integration with internal/external services.
- CI/CD Integration
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Ensure tests run reliably in pipelines and improve pipeline efficiency.
- Performance & Reliability Testing
- Work with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6) to measure system scalability and stability.
- Analyze bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams for optimizations.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain clear documentation for test strategies, frameworks, scripts, and test cases.
- Provide clear and detailed test reports, quality metrics, and automation dashboards.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Serenity BDD, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience in API testing, microservices testing, and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with JMeter or other performance testing solutions.
- Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
