  1. Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services; align with CI/CD pipelines and ensure coverage for smoke, regression, performance, and integration tests.

  2. Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews; identify root causes and drive quick resolution; promote testability and quality practices.

  3. Perform API and backend testing, integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate on performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize systems.

Job Title- Lead SDET Location- Irving, TX Job Type -Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Automation & Framework Development
  • Design, build, and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services.
  • Develop scalable test automation scripts in line with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure automation coverage for smoke, regression, performance, and integration scenarios.
  • Quality Engineering
  • Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
  • Identify root causes of defects and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
  • API & Backend Testing
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, or other frameworks.
  • Validate data flow, error handling, performance, and integration with internal/external services.
  • CI/CD Integration
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
  • Ensure tests run reliably in pipelines and improve pipeline efficiency.
  • Performance & Reliability Testing
  • Work with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, K6) to measure system scalability and stability.
  • Analyze bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams for optimizations.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain clear documentation for test strategies, frameworks, scripts, and test cases.
  • Provide clear and detailed test reports, quality metrics, and automation dashboards.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Serenity BDD, REST Assured, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience in API testing, microservices testing, and database validation (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Experience with JMeter or other performance testing solutions.
