Role & seniority: Quality Engineer reporting to the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager; Part 145 facility focus.
Stack/tools: Quality Management System (QMS); Organisation Approvals & Document Management System; authority approvals/certificates management; RSQM (Repair Station Quality Manual), MOE (Maintenance Organization Expositions).
Review, maintain, and ensure timely revisions of RSQM, MOE, and supplements in accordance with Part 145 regulations.
Manage authority approval certificates and AMO approvals to support new business and ensure validity.
Coordinate amendments to Quality Manuals, address non-conformances, and support implementation of Quality Compliance processes and risk assessments.
Broad aviation operations and/or MRO experience.
Proven quality engineering experience with regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and Part 145 regulations (aircraft or component knowledge advantageous).
Experience with Organisation Approvals and Document Management System.
Experience with Safety Risk Assessments and Standard Practice implementation.
Prior involvement in regulatory audits and approvals management.

Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible to perform review and manage the Repair Station Quality Manuals, Maintenance Organisation Expositions in accordance with the applicable regulations and ensure the adequacy of the procedures required to ensure safe operational practices of the Part 145 approved facility. The Quality Engineer will also be responsible to review the authority approval certificates in accordance with the business requirements to ensure the currency and validity of approvals.
Accountabilities Implement the manual review process in which compliance with all regulations is reviewed at regular intervals. Ensure the revisions of RSQM, MOE and supplements are carried out on time and are in compliance with all relevant areas of Part 145 Regulation. Ensure the latest revisions of RSQM, MOE and supplements are approved by the authority in a timely manner. Process applications to obtain AMO approval to support new business requirements. Ensure all the authority approval certificates are renewed on time to maintain the certificate validation. Review internal procedures manual amendments to ensure compliance with the regulations. Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of amendments in the Quality Manuals resulting from any changes in the applicable regulations. Manage non-conformances related to terms of approvals and Procedures. Support the development and implementation of Quality Compliance processes and Procedures. Assist with Safety Risk Assessments and implementation of Standard Practice. Assist the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager on implementing and monitoring the Organisation Approvals & Document Management System.
Education & Experience Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of Aviation operation and/or MRO. Proven experience in quality engineering and regulatory requirements. Familiar with Quality Management Systems. Good knowledge of Part 145 regulations, at aircraft or component level will be considered depending on experience.
