Location: Houston, Texas

We’re recruiting an Automation Test Engineer, with trading platform experience, for a leading software company that develops advanced solutions for trading and risk management across global financial and energy markets.
This is a hybrid role that requires you to work 2 / 3 days a week on client site in Houston.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using C#.Net and SpecFlow Lead integration and API testing across complex distributed systems Validate complex transactional and data-driven workflows Define and execute BDD test scenarios using Gherkin / SpecFlow Work closely with developers, product teams and customers to ensure robust test coverage Take ownership of testing activity within projects, acting as a trusted technical advisor
Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with C#.Net test automation Experience with SpecFlow and BDD frameworks (Gherkin, Cucumber or similar) Strong background in integration testing and API testing Solid SQL and database validation skills, including validating complex datasets Experience testing RESTful APIs (HTTP, JSON) Comfortable working as a self-starter with ownership of test delivery Confident engaging with customers and stakeholders in a consultative capacity
