Solidus is searching for a Principal Test Systems Technical Lead Engineer for an on-site role based in Tucson, AZ with a 9/80 work schedule. This position is based in a lab environment working with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter.

Day In The Life

Communicate regularly with the program Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL) Responsible for the Technical Execution of the program Work directly with the Program Manager/IPTL to establish and complete program milestones Lead a multi-disciplinary team in an engineering environment Develop and participate in presentations for gate reviews Attend Failure Review Boards (FRBs) when required Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and approve system changes Report status metrics for your team to stakeholders Define program requirements in a multi-disciplinary team As the lead, you will be expected to provide training, as needed, understand the scope, cost and schedule of the Program and define/delegate tasking for your team Travel up to 20% to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment

US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation and pass a polygraph exam

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) (10) years’ prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 8 years of experience Experience with the functionalities of Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments Experience with design, development and/or integration of test equipment

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

Full benefits: $109,000 to $137,000 annually

Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $148,000 annually
