Role & seniority: Senior DoD testing engineer/consultant (contract role) with subject-matter expertise in testing and evaluation for Navy SIGINT systems.

Stack/tools: Shipboard SIGINT systems (SSEE Increment E/F, ISCRS, CCOP); test planning and reporting documents; configuration documentation and procedures; Security+ candidate.

  • Provide subject matter expert recommendations on testing requirements and methodologies.

  • Perform system-level software testing to validate operational readiness; translate user requirements into test tasks; review technical documentation for accuracy.

  • Generate test and evaluation planning, execution, and reporting artifacts; lead or contribute to cross-functional testing efforts.

Must-have skills

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance (CI poly eligible preferred) and U.S. citizenship.

  • 8+ years of Navy Shipboard SIGINT system operations or equivalent.

  • Ability to work in equipment spaces onboard U.S. Navy platforms; strong written and verbal communication; independent work with cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to follow configuration documentation/procedures and recommend risk-reducing controls.

  • Security+ or equivalent within six months of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • SSEE Increment F NEC C21A; completion of TST 102 Fundamentals of Test and Evaluation and TST 1100 Intro to Systems Engineering for Testers.

Description Providing subject matter expertise recommendations on testing requirements Performing system level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness Translating user requirements into tasks to execute as a member of the test team Performing document reviews for technical accuracy Identifying basic test and evaluation methodologies for new systems and system updates Generating T-E planning, execution, and reporting documentation #LI-LL1 Requirements Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance A minimum of eight years of Navy Shipboard Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system operations, or equivalent experience is required

Shipboard systems may include, but are not limited to

  • Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F
  • Integrated Submarine Communications Receiving System (ISCRS)
  • Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) systems
  • Must be able to perform work within equipment spaces onboard US Navy platforms
  • Strong writing and speaking skills; experience leading and working in a diverse group of coworkers and community of interest
  • Ability to follow configuration documentation and procedures is required
  • Work independently but collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consulting and control design recommendations to reduce risk
