🔹 Automation & Testing Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated UI tests using C#, .NET, Selenium WebDriver, and design patterns such as Page Object Model.
Write and maintain Gherkin feature files and step definitions for BDD-style scenarios.
Build and expand backend/API automated tests using .NET (RestSharp, HttpClient or similar frameworks).
Validate business rules, payload structures, and endpoint behaviors.
🔹 Quality Ownership
Prepare, generate, and manage test data for automated and manual testing.
Act as a quality gate for production deployments.
Log, investigate, and document issues and confirmed defects.
Provide clear reporting on test results and automation coverage.
🔹 Collaboration & Process
Perform peer code reviews on automated tests.
Work closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to clarify acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
Contribute to improving the internal automation framework (architecture, reusability, scalability).
Support teammates and share knowledge to uplift the team's overall quality practices.
Contribute to accelerating AI adoption within BT by sharing practical knowledge on using coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and similar technologies.
Leverage AI‑driven tools—including GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot—to analyze requirements and transform them into working code, comprehensive test cases, and automated test scripts.

To perform in this role, we would like you to have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
3+ years of experience in test automation.
Strong skills in C#, .NET, NUnit, and object‑oriented programming.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and building scalable UI automation.
Good understanding of BDD and practical experience writing tests in Gherkin.
Proven experience testing complex business rules.
Experience in web application and API testing.
