Role & seniority: Junior QA Automation Tester and Analyst
Stack/tools: Selenium; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java; relational DBs (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL); experience with automated testing suites and CI pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)
Design and execute test plans and test cases; perform exploratory and regression testing
Identify, document, and track defects; coordinate testing activities and monitor debugging results
Develop testing scripts/plans; prepare data sets; collaborate with developers, project managers, and end-users; track QA metrics
At least 1 year of testing experience
Working knowledge of Selenium, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Java
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
English fluency (C1+); detail-oriented with problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience maintaining automated test suites in CI (e.g., GitLab CI)
Experience with UI testing, TDD, and varied testing techniques

A Typical Day
A Junior QA Automation Tester and Analyst designs and executes test plans and carries out exploratory testing and unit test development as part of a broader risk-based approach. This role will work closely with our Software Engineering and Development team.
Responsibilities
At least 1 year of experience in Testing Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Develops/writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows Work with end-users to broaden their understanding of systems and their requirements Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements Monitor debugging process results Creating automated test Collaborating with developers and project managers Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications
