As a Hardware/Software Validation Engineer in the automotive industry at MCA Belgium, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of embedded systems. You will be responsible for testing and validating both hardware and software components to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve automotive system performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and develop advanced test benches to evaluate the performance of hybrid powertrains. Ensure maintenance, continuous improvement, and updates of the test benches under your responsibility. Develop and optimize the test environment (hardware and software), with a strong focus on accuracy and innovation. The test benches operate on a real-time platform, using Python and CANape for automation. Act as the main point of contact for operational issues and systematically resolve incidents to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with validation, engineering, and R&D teams to optimize testing processes. Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve test quality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Engineering degree with an interest in mechatronic systems. Ability to understand complex systems within a test environment. Programming skills, including LabVIEW, Python, and CANape.
