Job Description NetImpact Strategies is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our talented Federal delivery team. This role will design and implement automated testing frameworks within Agile DevSecOps environments to ensure secure, high-quality software delivery. The candidate will integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with development teams to improve reliability and release confidence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend services. Build UI test automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Develop API validation scripts using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Conduct performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner. Implement security validation checks aligned with OWASP guidelines. Document test results and support audit/compliance reporting. Collaborate with developers and architects to remediate defects efficiently. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of test automation experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments. Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python. Experience integrating test automation into Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab pipelines. Knowledge of API testing, regression testing, and load testing tools.
