DESCRIPTION
In this role, the Software QA Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and tools used to test consumer apps and services. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams of software developers, QA engineers, and project managers. Other responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing test results, maintaining databases for test cases, and reporting on the quality of features. Additionally, this position may require API testing and UI testing as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Automation experience with high-level knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages such as Python, Java, or Swift Minimum of 1+ years experience as a Software Engineer in Test, programming in Swift and/or Python to prototype features, create and test with internal tools Capacity to define/design/develop/maintain test automation frameworks plus experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins) Expertise with Software Version Control systems like Git (GitHub/Gitlab) Experience with API testing and familiarity with server architecture Experience automating testing of native app frameworks Proficiency with Xcode Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and SQA methodologies Capability to investigate problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
