JobType: full-time We are hiring an Intelligent Automation Engineer for one of Weekday’s clients, seeking a skilled professional who can design, develop, and scale automation solutions that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation. In this role, you will work at the intersection of process optimization, automation technologies, and enterprise systems to build intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across business functions. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, analyze existing processes, and implement scalable solutions using modern automation tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and hands-on experience in building end-to-end automation solutions within enterprise environments. This role requires a balance of technical depth, process understanding, and the ability to deliver measurable business impact through intelligent automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions using RPA and workflow automation tools Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend scalable solutions Build reusable automation frameworks and components to improve development efficiency Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and databases Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs Implement exception handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms for automation reliability Conduct testing, validation, and performance optimization of automation workflows Maintain documentation for automation architecture, workflows, and operational procedures Provide post-deployment support, enhancements, and troubleshooting Ensure compliance with security, governance, and organizational standards Continuously evaluate emerging automation tools and best practices to improve capabilities What Makes You a Great Fit 4+ years of experience in Intelligent Automation, RPA, or process automation engineering Strong hands-on experience with leading automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar) Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java Experience integrating automation solutions with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications Solid understanding of process mapping, business analysis, and workflow optimization Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled automation, OCR, or cognitive automation tools (preferred) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex automation environments Experience working in Agile or structured project delivery environments Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple automation projects and deliver within defined timelines Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
