We are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate Software Developer for QA automation to ensure that our cloud products and services meet the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability. The successful candidate will have a technical background in cloud computing, quality assurance, and software development and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. The QA engineer will automate test suites from scratch and extend the test coverage to reduce production impacts and post-release fixes establish testing environments perform defect detection be embedded into the team, working closely with developers in a DevOps model for seamless collaboration and improved workflow. work in an agile environment Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the technical field of software development, preferable in QA automation Knowledge of Frontend Test automation Tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Good knowledge of a Scripting Language, e.g. Typescript or Python Proficient in using GIT for version control, including command-line operations, branch management, and repository handling Good knowledge of cloud computing, including cloud infrastructure and platform services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based software applications (e.g., IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) Sound knowledge of Linux, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Micro Services and Docker Containers are a strong plus About IONOS IONOS is the leading European digitalization partner for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB).
