ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior SDET Engineer to build and scale automation foundations that directly ensure product reliability and high-quality releases. In this role, you’ll lead automation strategy across web, API, and microservices, combining Java-driven engineering, CI/CD integration, and modern testing practices to influence how quality is built from day one. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and maintain scalable, robust automation frameworks from the ground up for both Web and API layers;

  • Define the automation strategy, ensuring high test coverage and reliable release cycles within squads;

  • Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure the integrity of microservices;

  • Implement and manage frontend automation scripts to ensure a top-tier user experience;

  • Mentor other engineers on testing best practices and foster a quality-first culture.

MUST HAVES

  • 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer;

  • Strong programming skills in Java with a developer-first approach to QA;

  • Extensive experience using REST Assured for API automation;

  • Proven hands-on experience with Playwright for frontend automation;

  • Deep understanding of the shift-left approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines;

  • Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives;

  • Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Previous experience in Loyalty or Fintech domains;

  • Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling;

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SQL for data validation within test scripts;

  • Experience working with mocking frameworks.
