Role & seniority: Summer Trainee, Software Quality Assurance (SW QA)
Stack/tools: Manual testing of digital pathology hardware and related software; defect reporting and documentation; collaboration with SW QA team
Perform manual testing on digital microscope scanners and associated software
Reproduce, document, and identify affected software versions for reported issues
Maintain and improve defect reports to be clear and actionable; support day-to-day testing activities

The role
Are you curious about quality, precision, and how real products are tested before they are used in healthcare workflows? As a Summer Trainee in our SW QA team, you will take part in manual testing of our digital pathology solutions and help keep test findings and defect information clear and actionable.
Key tasks
Perform manual testing on digital microscope scanners and related software
Verify reported issues: reproduce, document, and identify affected software versions Maintain and improve defect reports so they are easy to understand and act on Support day-to-day testing activities together with the SW QA team
Required skills and knowledge
Careful, systematic and logical way of working; you like precision and clarity Interest in medical devices, technology, and quality assurance Ability to document findings clearly and accurately (written communication matters) Good collaboration and communication skills Fluency in English or Finnish
