Full Description

The QA Automation Engineer will manage systems quality to ensure that high‑quality, internally developed solutions and integrations are delivered to the Firm’s product owners and users. The role‑holder will lead all Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Testing and will design, create, enhance, and execute automated test scripts while presenting detailed reports to project teams. The individual will also provide feedback and recommendations to ensure that system introductions, enhancements, and product customizations meet business needs and will coordinate Automation Testing activities across the QA team and other project teams involved in completing these activities.

Main responsibilities

Lead the execution of Testing Automation projects Coordinate Testing Automation activities across the QA team and other project teams involved Conduct training sessions for the team on QA testing tools Design, develop, execute, and manage automated scripts using TOSCA, NEOLOAD, HP UFT, HP ALM, Performance Center, and Microsoft Visual Studio Test Professional Implement QA Automation processes and best practices Prepare Test Automation Plans by understanding application requirements and coordinating with Test Leads, Project Managers, Development Leads, and other project team resources Design, create, and execute manual test scripts when needed Design and implement automated test scenarios Monitor test results through closure and communicate findings to project teams Provide feedback and recommendations, including resolution and preventive actions, to the development team on defects identified during testing Lead, mentor, and support the upskilling of team members in Automated Testing Provide post-deployment testing, coordination, and support Provide recommendations for improvements to QA standards and processes particularly in Automation Testing Execute test scripts according to agreed schedules Support deployment and post-deployment testing during weekends when required

Skills and experience

Strong experience in developing automated test systems and scripts beyond record and playback, including developing functions and adding control flow logic and loops Strong experience in at least two programming languages, such as C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C++, or Java Experience in testing Mobile Applications Expertise in VB Scripting Strong understanding of software testing best practices, tools, and methodologies, such as Agile methodology Knowledge of SQL and general scripting Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and operating system issues Strong knowledge and experience in testing tools and methodologies, including TOSCA, NEOLOAD is preferred; some knowledge and experience in HP QTP/UFT, ALM, Performance Center, Visual Studio Test Professional is an advantage Experience in using VS2017/VS2022/VS2025 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and work with people from various cultures and nationalities A high-level of attention to detail and able to work independently Good collaboration skills and able to work effectively as part of a team Flexible to changing needs, easily adaptable to new situations and directions Flexible to participate in conference calls and meetings outside of core business hours when needed
