Role & seniority: IT Quality Engineering (QE) Lead; senior/lead level responsible for quality governance across IT product lifecycle.
Stack/tools: Agile/SAFe environment; Azure DevOps for work items and reporting; CI/CD concepts; test strategy & automation awareness; release and risk management; data quality practices; familiarity with eCommerce platforms (advantage: SAP Hybris, SAP Commerce Cloud, MS Dynamics 365, Workday).
Guide, mentor, and coach product teams to adhere to the IT Global Quality Strategy and defined Quality Gates.
Monitor Quality Gates across all IT product lifecycle phases; define and track corrective actions; gather metrics and publish quality reports.
Serve as focal point for quality topics (internal platforms, ARTs, product teams, external interfaces); support Agile ceremonies with Scrum Masters/RTEs; assist onboarding of new members.
5+ years in software quality roles; strong quality mindset; knowledge of quality standards and maturity models.
Deep understanding of the complete Product Lifecycle (PM, risk, release, delivery, planning, CI/CD, V&V).
Proficiency with Agile principles and SAFe; experience in Agile testing; release management and operations/maintenance understanding.

As an IT QE Lead, you will be embarking on a mission to elevate quality to new, exceptional heights. This role is vital to the success of product teams "IT product lifecycle", requiring a unique blend of leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of the IT products lifecycle and the ability to foresee potential quality issues and address them proactively.
As a QE Lead, one of your primary responsibilities is to actively monitor, guide, and mentor product teams. By providing continuous feedback and coaching, you help cultivate a culture of quality and excellence. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential.
You will often be required to make critical decisions regarding quality improvements and corrective actions. This calls for a high level of confidence and assertiveness.

Guide and mentor the teams to follow and adhere to the quality guidelines defined in the IT Global Quality Strategy Make sure that each team is familiar with and know the Quality Gates to be fulfilled Monitor the fulfilment of the Quality Gates defined on all phases of the IT Products Lifecycle Define corrective actions with the team for those unfulfilled Quality Gates and follow up on their effectiveness Gather metrics, generate and publish reports on the Quality for each team Provide feedback to the QA Manager to support the establishment of the Quality Strategy Act as a contact point for all Quality related topics within the Platforms, ARTs & Product teams Act as a contact point between external teams and CCH in order to guarantee transparency and adherence to CCH's internal quality guidelines and promote the proper spirit to work as one team Work close with Scrum Masters and RTEs to support the adherence to the established Agile Methodology On Platform and ART level you keep the overview of the Quality of all product teams Support the onboarding of new team members You will not be performing hands-on test activities, but oversee the quality in each step of the Product Development Lifecycle
Requirements
Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in roles related to Quality in Software Development Strong quality-oriented mindset and familiarity with Quality Standards and strong experience fostering such Standards Deep understanding about the complete Product Lifecyle (including project management, risk management, release management, delivery and planning, product maintenance, CI/CD, V&V, etc.) Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile testing methodologies Previous experience working in SAFe framework is desired Experience in leading and mentoring teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement Knowledge in Azure DevOps (ADO) for tickets management (Epics, Features, User Stories, Test Cases, Defects, Tasks) and reporting Excellent understanding on different methodologies as Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), Waterfall Understanding on CI/CD and pipelines Knowledge on requirements management and risk management Knowledge on Release Management and Operations/Maintenance phase (incidents management) Familiar with Quality Standards and maturity models Understanding on test automation strategies, frameworks, coverage, etc Experience with eCommerce Platforms such as SAP Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HR Workday, and others will be considered a strong advantage Knowledge and experience in data management and data quality will be considered as strong advantage A broad Quality mindset beyond testing is crucial for the role
