Freelance, project-by-project basis
We are looking for highly skilled Freelance Czech Localization Testers to join our team on a project-by-project basis. · In this role, Freelancer will be a key part of our Quality Assurance process, combining the technical discipline of functional testing with the linguistic precision of linguistic testing. · Must be available to work ON-SITE (RWS Bangkok) once we call.
· Linguistic Testing: Meticulously checking the UI for translation errors, grammatical mistakes, spelling issues, and other linguistic bugs.
· Functional & Internationalization Testing: Identifying and reporting technical issues related to localization, such as text truncation, layout problems, display errors, and regional formatting inconsistencies.
· Bug Reporting: Clearly documenting and reporting issues using our internal spreadsheets, providing detailed and actionable information.
· Following Instructions: Executing test plans and complex test cases with precision, paying close attention to detailed instructions.
· Native-Level Language Proficiency: You must be a native-level speaker of the language you are applying for, possessing a high degree of linguistic expertise that goes beyond basic grammar to include cultural nuance, natural flow, and consistent terminology.
· Exceptional Attention to Detail: The ability to spot subtle linguistic and functional issues that others might miss is non-negotiable.
· Technical Proficiency: You must be comfortable working with various devices (smartphones, smartwatches, etc.) and adept with common software like Google Drive and Google Sheets. You should be able to navigate technical setups and follow complex instructions with ease.
· Critical Thinking & Troubleshooting: The ability to independently identify problems, think through solutions, and find efficient ways to get the job done.
· Strong Communication: The ability to clearly and concisely report bugs and provide feedback.
· Experience: Previous experience in localization, quality assurance, or linguistic roles is a significant plus.
