Role & seniority: Senior Embedded Test Development Engineer (7+ years in embedded/dev/test)
Stack/tools: C# (expert), C/C++ (working knowledge), automation/testing methodologies (regression/functional/unit/black-box/white-box), version control (Mercurial, Git or similar), CI tools (TeamCity, Jenkins or similar), ARM embedded platforms, basic electrical/mechanical insight; test equipment (NI-like DAQ, I/O cards), industrial protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Industrial Ethernet, Modbus)
Define and develop test automation to improve efficiency and coverage
Write manual and automated test procedures for low-power, high-reliability industrial process control devices
Log, track, investigate defects to determine root cause; monitor and enhance automated test infrastructure
Expert C#; working knowledge of C/C++
Strong understanding of software test methodologies (regression, functional, unit, black/white box)
Ability to read/interpret engineering and industry standards; basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems
Team collaboration, analytical problem solving, decision-making
Knowledge of control/process control environments
Experience with CI tools and distributed version control
