Global Management Consulting leader has an immediate need for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with Playwright experience to join their growing team to deliver high-quality software solutions for a public entity. This is a fully remote, long-term opportunity for a professional passionate about ensuring excellence in enterprise software and cloud infrastructure through innovative testing and automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will develop and execute testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of software products and cloud infrastructure prior to launch.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Designing and implementing test strategies, plans, and automated testing frameworks to support the SDLC, including integration, regression, performance, user acceptance, disaster recovery, and end-to-end testing.
Automating testing processes and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CodeFresh, or similar DevSecOps platforms.
Conducting manual and automated testing, documenting results, and validating reported issues or defects.
Performing root cause analysis for identified defects and collaborating with development teams to propose solutions.
Developing, maintaining, and tracking test plans, test cases, and defect reports using tools like Jira.
Ensuring adherence to Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies, contributing to iterative and high-quality software delivery.
Monitoring and reporting on quality assurance metrics, presenting findings to stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and mentor team members as needed.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree or an additional FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
At least FOUR (4) years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles supporting enterprise software platforms and system development.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing, with expertise in tools like Selenium, Apache JMeter, and Playwright (required).
Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience providing QA and testing support for workloads deployed on AWS.
Strong experience with Agile practices, with a proven ability to deliver software products iteratively and efficiently.
In-depth knowledge of AWS services and technologies, including Vue.js, Python, Django, S3, SNS, SQS, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Redis/Memcached, Amazon RDS (Postgres), and MongoDB.
